Orvieto 1964-1970 - Years of bronze doors in the shots of Greek Emilio Enrico Valentini
Photographic Exhibition on the theme of "Doors", the new ports bronze cathedral carved between 1962 and 1964 and the Sicilian
put in place on August 11, 1970, between the clamor and controversy.
The report made by the photographer Enrico Valentini in Terni days "hot" pictures of those years it has totally unprecedented and follows, then, Emilio
Greek in the completion of his attachment to that city of Orvieto, already evident in the images of the exhibition of 1980 at the Papal Palace, which motivated
the precious legacy of his collection of works now on display in the museum dedicated to him.
The path is composed of about 50 photographs depicting the most significant moments of the presence of Emilio Greek to Orvieto, ending with the image
ports as a background of the Mass celebrated by Pope John Paul II in 1990, the last visit of a pope to Orvieto.
