Photographic Exhibition on the theme of "Doors", the new ports bronze cathedral carved between 1962 and 1964 and the Sicilian

"Leonardo da Vinci: Man-genius - Inventor 'is a show that features 40 models of military equipment for the flight or air and civil faithfully reproduced from the drawings in Leonardo (Atlantic, Madrid, Trivulziano ...) to be staged in the splendid rooms of the castle Carnaiola (Fabro TR).
The machines, manufactured in wood, metal and fabric, size or scale, have been reconstructed by skilled Florentine artisans under the supervision of experienced engineers. What most attracts the audience is the characteristic of "interactivity" of the machines, which means that visitors can touch them and seeing them in manipulating function.
explanations for each model, ten illustrated panels, the copies of Leonardo's codes and a computer (a full enjoyment of the public) take account of 'high scientific and cultural shows.
The faithful reconstruction of the models has been appreciated by Professor Carlo Pedretti, director of the Center "Armand Hammer" by Leonardo Studies at the University of California at Los Angeles and its European headquarters at the University of Urbino. Professor Pedretti support cultural cooperation in recent years has been invaluable to the international recognition and improvement of models shown.
The exhibition has already visited several cities in Italy and all 'foreign as Melbourne (2006), Dubai (2005), Paris (2007), Strasbourg (2006), Aquila (2008), Detroit and Houston (2008).
The exhibition will be housed in the beautiful rooms of the Castle Carnaiola granted by the family Dal Savio, just for this event. Fabro. Opens Friday, the National Truffle Fair



Over the weekend, the new capital of the Fabro truffle, happy news, the fact that the market-moastra will be held this year in the historic center. The 22nd edition of the National Truffle Fair begins Friday, November 13. At 17.00 will open the stands with local food and wine, the official opening at 18.00 with provincial authorities and regional and 19.30 dinner of truffle. A day dedicated to "Freedom Software" organized by OrvietoLUG, Foundation Studies Centre "City of Orvieto" and BackTrack Italy.

kicks off Saturday, July 25 the third edition of the exhibition entitled "Open Atelier", a weekend contemporary art, landscape and cuisine from Orvieto, Castel Giorgio Castel Viscardo with ten internationally renowned artists, four of whom live in Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany and the other six (their guests) from Italy, Germany and England. Timo Kahlen was born in 1966 in Berlin (Germany) where he was trained at the Hochschule der Künste in the period 1985/1994. It 'was the fellow at the Eurocréation / Pepiniéres Paris and then at the Karl-Hofer-Gesellschaft in Berlin where he was also Professor of Visual Media / Video Art at the Hochschule der Künste, has worked in Washington DC Arts Center (USA) and Berlin for the "Phos phorus Photo graphy.
